Synopsis
While playing saxophone in a jazz club, Izzy Maurer is shot into the chest by a lunatic. He is submitted to a long surgery, where he loses one lung and has a problem in one hand. When the hospital releases him, he is depressed and does not want to have contact with any telephone caller.
